Doha, December 21 (QNA) - At the beginning of this year's winter season, Qatar Tourism conducted an inspection campaign on four-wheel drive bike rental offices in Sealine and Ghariyah to improve the land trip experiences, promote local and international tourism, and provide a safe products and experiences.

The campaign ensures adherence to Law No. (20) of 2018 regarding the organization of tourism and the circulars issued pursuant to it, which specifies operating guidelines and standards for vehicles used in tourism experiences and the requirements and standards for means of transportation on land trips.

Head of Tourism Control Section at Qatar Tourism, Ali Al Mohannadi said that providing distinctive tourism experiences is one of the top priorities at Qatar Tourism. As desert excursions are a significant part of Qatari culture and are a popular tourism activity, Qatar Tourism works closely with the relevant public and private institutions to improve security and safety during the camping season.

Qatar Tourism also works jointly with the owners of the rental offices to assist them in complying with the licensing requirements, with a focus on delivering service excellence.

The regulations not only prioritize the safety of campers and tourists but also help to protect the investments of vendors and ensure a quality experience, Al Mohannadi added.

He stressed the need to oblige owners and operators of activities to comply with the law and the circulars issued pursuant to it, due to its great importance and the widespread popularity of the camping season and its activities.

Timed with the start of the winter season, Qatar Tourism conducted the annual inspection in collaboration with the South Security Department in Sealine, the North Security Department in Ghariyah, the General Directorate of Traffic, and the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) to enhance security and safety means during the winter camping period in these areas as well as promote local and international tourism.
