Xiaomi: Devices to Receive HyperOS System in 2024
Beijing, December 26 (QNA) - Xiaomi announced the arrival of more than 80 of its devices that will be connected to its HyperOS system next year, bringing the total number of devices for which the system will be available to approximately 100 devices so far.
The new list includes the Xiaomi 10, 11, 12, and 12S phones in their various versions, the Civi, Redmi K40, K50, and K60, the Note 11, 12, and 13, in addition to the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Redmi Pad, and other devices such as the foldable phone Mix Fold and Mix 4.
Xiaomi is launching its new system in China first, then the rest of the world later, and the update for these devices is expected to be released during the first half of 2024. The company is also expected to make other customized versions of the system available for home and for wearable devices.
Xiaomi had announced the launch of the new HyperOS system globally during the first quarter of 2024 for some versions, as the initial list includes Xiaomi 13 phones, Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro phones, the Redmi Note 12 and 12S phones, as well as the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet.
The HyperOS system is not radically different from Xiaomi's current MIUI interface, as the company maintains the same user interface, and continues to rely on the open source Android system as the basic core of its newly announced system, through which it primarily aims to provide broad integration between the various devices that it offers.
