Amsterdam, December 29 (QNA) - Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Hanke Bruins Slot het here today with her visiting Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to issues of common concern.

During the meeting, stressed the importance of her country's broader participation in the economic and development projects implemented by Iraq, pointing to the cooperation of the Dutch authorities with their Arab counterparts in order to work to stop the war against Gaza.

For his part, Hussein stressed his country's endeavor to spare the Palestinian people part of the tragedies they are exposed to as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the cities of the occupied West Bank, which caused the death and injury of tens of thousands, and an unprecedented humanitarian situation.
