Seoul, January 01 (QNA) - Samsung is set to introduce a new feature to its upcoming Galaxy S24 series of smartphones that will enable instant call translation using artificial intelligence (AI) technology developed by the company.
The built-in virtual phone application in the Galaxy S24 devices will translate phone calls using the processors present and rely on an AI model known as Gauss. This feature will facilitate instant call translation without any delays, making communication between users smoother and bridging language barriers without the need for intermediaries.
The AI-driven call translation feature will work not only with Samsung phones but also support smartphones from other manufacturers as both parties will be able to hear voice translations in real-time. The translations will also be displayed on the screen of Galaxy S24 devices. Samsung aims to make this feature available to as many users as possible.
Samsung is expected to introduce several other AI-powered features in the Galaxy S24 smartphones, including advanced photo editing features such as adding or removing elements, generating backgrounds, call summarization, enhancing the photography experience, changing keyboard typing styles, and optimizing battery life based on usage and charging patterns.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S24 phones later this January. (QNA)
