Doha, January 01 (QNA) - A Qatari-Saudi coordination meeting was held in Doha on Monday regarding the work plan for the project to facilitate traveler procedures and exchange and audit data between the land ports of Abu Samra of Qatar and Salwa of Saudi Arabia.
Director General of Passports Maj. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Ateeq Al Dosari headed the Qatari side at the meeting, while Director General of Passports Lt. Gen. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Yahya headed the Saudi side.
During the meeting, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Ateeq Al Dosari pointed out the importance of these coordination meetings to enhance the efforts made regarding data exchange to facilitate procedures for the movement of travelers between the two fraternal countries.
This meeting comes in the implementation of the work plan for the project to facilitate procedures for travelers and exchange and audit data between the land ports of Abu Samra of Qatar and Salwa of Saudi Arabia, which was signed on Dec. 25, 2023. (QNA)
