Winners of Junior Falconer Championship, Saluki Competition Unveiled

Doha, January 06 (QNA) - The organizing committee of the 15th Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival (Marmi 2024) announced the names of the winners of the junior falconer championship and the finalists for the Saluki racing championship final.

According to the committee, the first place in the junior falconer competition was won by Bati Mohammed Al Kaabi as well as Amer Abdullah Al Kaabi, Musnad Khalid Al Humaidi, Jarallah Faisal Al Marri, Abdulrahman Saud Al Rumaihi, Rashid Saud Al Rumaihi, Mubarak Hamad Al Buainain, Rashid Mubarak Al Buainain, Salman Faisal Al Marri, and Jaber Mohammed Al Baridi.

The organizing committee also unveiled that 15 Saluki owners qualified namely, Abdulrahman Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Hassan Ahmed Mal Allah Al Hammadi, Al Hashir team, Jassim Khalil Al Tamimi, Nasser Saeed Al Muftah, Abdullah Sultan Al Dosari, Saeed Mjali Al Jassim, Aman Majid Al Jassim, and Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Zaraa. In the female category, those qualified are Al Hashir team, Mohammed Tariq Hassan Al Muftah, Mohammed Khalifa Al Muhannadi and Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Zaraa, Mohammed Youssef Mohammed Al Maliki, Jabr Mohammed Al Yaqoub, and Abdulrahman Ahmed Al Sulaiti.

Held at Sabkhat Marmi in Sealine, Marmi 2024 championships and competitions continued today and will run until Jan. 27.

During the morning period, Al-Talaa championship qualifiers were held for groups from 26 to 30, and 4 falconers reached the next round. In the evening period, Haddad Al-Tahadi championship qualifiers for the ninth group conducted, and only one falconer was crowned after strong competitions between Al-Zajel and Al-Shaheen.

In the Al-Talaa championship, 3 falcons qualified, bringing the number of those qualified to 12 falcons. (QNA)
