Tokyo, January 07 (QNA) - Casio has launched the RANGEMAN series, a new series of solar-powered smartwatches that combine the toughness of a G-SHOCK with the benefits of a health tracker.

The watch is specifically designed to provide vital features for survival settings, equipped with an optical heart rate sensor, GPS functionality capable, and more.

The RANGEMAN timepieces are equipped with a Triple Sensor, which measures compass bearing, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature. These features make them ideal for rangers and other professionals operating in challenging land environments, including hot, rainy jungles, and dense forests.

The G-SHOCK RANGEMAN supports nine activities, including trekking, running, biking, and swimming, emphasizing practicality and analysis. The watch provides real-time data, equipped with six sensors, including a heart rate monitor. Health metrics and analysis are facilitated through the Powered by Polar suite and smartphone connectivity to the CASIO Watches App. The built-in GPS provides precise position, distance, and speed measurements, enhancing tracking capabilities.
