Doha, January 08 (QNA) - Team Qatar continued their preparations to face Lebanon next Friday at Lusail Stadium in the opening match of the 18th edition of the 2023 Asian Cup.

Team Qatar play in the Group A, which includes China, Tajikistan and Lebanon.

The defending champions on Monday entered their official residence in the continental tournament at the Messila Hotel in Doha, and will train throughout the tournament at the Aspire Training Center.
Recently, Head Coach Marquez Lopez announced the final list, which included goalkeepers: Saad Al Shaib and Mishal Barshim (Al -Sadd), and Salah Zakaria (Al-Duhail).

The defense line: Mahdi Ali and Lucas Mendez (Al-Wakrah), Boualem Khoukhi, Pedro Miguel and Tariq Salman (Al-Sadd), Sultan Al-Breik (Al-Duhail), Hammam Al-Amin (Al-Gharafa), and Bassam Al-Rawi (Al-Rayyan).

Midfiel: Ahmed Fathi and Jassim Jaber (Al-Arabi), Abdul Aziz Hatem (Al-Rayyan), Hassan Al-Haydos, Ali Asad, Muhammad Waad, Mustafa Meshaal (Al-Sadd), and Khaled Muhammad (Al-Duhail).
