Samsung Unveils Newest Galaxy S24 Smartphones
Seoul, January 18 (QNA) - Samsung unveiled its latest smartphones of the Galaxy S series during the company's Galaxy Unpacked event in California, USA. The new lineup includes the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Samsung said that the new Galaxy S24 series will be the first generative artificial intelligence (AI) smartphone offering completely new services, such as live and simultaneous translation, and improved camera performance and image processing.
One of the prominent features is the direct translation service, which allows instant translation of voice and text between different languages from within the phone program itself, as the service supported by (AI) supports 13 languages.
Another new feature in the new Galaxy S24 series is the "ProVisual Engine" service, which takes advantage of (AI) to enhance zoom capabilities, especially at night.
Generative AI also extends its functionality into image post-processing, helping users edit images by adding missing objects or removing shadows and light reflections.
Samsung said that it will provide major updates and security patches to its main series for a period of 7 years, in line with its strategy to extend the life cycle of technological devices.
The company said that the new series will be officially launched on Jan. 31, worldwide. (QNA)
