Saudi Rider Abdullah Al Sharbatly Wins Grand Prix Title of Tour 3 of Doha International Equestrian Tour

Doha, January 27 (QNA) - Saudi rider Abdullah Al Sharbatly was crowned the Grand Prix title of Tour 3 of the Doha International Equestrian Tour 2024. Held at the Longines outdoor arena at Al Shaqab and organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation with a strategic partnership from the Qatar Olympic Committee and Al Shaqab, the event saw a wider participation from the world's top riders in addition to riders from the State of Qatar and Gulf and Arab countries.

Al Sharbatly won the title of the Grand Prix of the CSI5* competition at a height of 160 cm, after an exciting round in which 4 riders competed, achieving a time of 39.43 seconds. The Brazilian rider Santiago Lambre followed in second place, achieving a clear round in 40.09 seconds, while Danish Rikke Belinda Barker finished in third place by jumping a clear round in 41.78 seconds President of the Qatar Equestrian Federation Badr Mohammed Al Darwish and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Doha International Equestrian Tour 2024 Sheikh Ahmed bin Nouh Al-Thani crowned the winners of the Grand Prix of the CSI5*. They also honored the tournament sponsors.

In the final day of Tour 3, five rounds for CSI5* alongside CSI2* categories, in addition to the Grand Prix round for the CSI5*category at a height of 160 cm were held, with total prizes amounted to more than 300,000 euros. (QNA)
