Muscat, February 03 (QNA) - Al-Arabi defeated today Al-Ahly of Bahrain by 3-0 in the first round of Group B of the West Asian Club Volleyball Championship, which is being held in Sohar in the Sultanate of Oman from Feb. 1 to 12.

Al-Arabi succeeded in deciding the match by winning three rounds 25-22, 25-21, 25-23 to lead its group, which includes Sohar of Oman, Shabab Al-Hussein of Jordan, Al-Ahly of Bahrain, and Al-Kuwait of Kuwait.

Al-Arabi's next match will be on Feb. 5 against Al-Kuwait of Kuwait, followed by another on Sohar of Oman on Feb. 6. It will conclude its campaign in the group stage by facing Shabab Al-Hussein of Jordan on Feb. 7. (QNA)
