Doha, February 08 (QNA) - CEO of Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital Dr. Abdulaziz Al Kuwari expressed his great pride in the role that Aspetar plays in the health and safety of athletes participating in the World Aquatics Championships - Doha 2024 which includes more than 2,600 players representing 201 countries.

Leveraging its extensive expertise and experience, Aspetar delivers comprehensive medical care to competitors across all disciplines, including swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, and open-water swimming.

Aspetar's team of seasoned medical professionals doctors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and nurses are strategically positioned at competition venues and training facilities. This ensures prompt and effective care for athletes experiencing any injuries or illnesses throughout the championships.

Aspetar CEO Dr. Al Kuwari stated: "The organizing committee's confidence in Aspetar and the exceptional medical services we offer to athletes is a true testament to our expertise. We are dedicated to providing athletes at the World Aquatics Championships with unparalleled support, empowering them to compete at their best and achieve their full potential." By partnering with local stakeholders like the Qatar Red Crescent and Hamad Medical Corporation, Aspetar extends its medical expertise beyond athletes to VIPs, spectators, media, and event staff.
