Doha, February 10 (QNA) - The Qatar-Jordan match in the final receives a great significance, as Qatar aspire to maintain the title with Jordan being in the final for the first time in history.

The match is due to be played at Lusail Stadium a few hours from now and draws an unprecedented huge public and media interest. The number of spectators is projected to reach over 85,000, breaking the previous records compared to the UAE tournament which reached 38,646 fans.

The previous hours saw a huge turnout from the public and fans to purchase tickets reminiscent of the Argentine star Lionel Messi when he hoisted the trophy at the same stadium during the match with France which broke the record with 88,966 spectators in one of the greatest finals of the world cup whatsoever.
