Doha, March 15 (QNA) - The Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) held the thirty-fifth race for the HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani Trophy, which included nine races on the grass track with the participation of large numbers of horses.

The race witnessed the participation of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani in crowning the winners, specifically in the third half of the race.

AEMILIANUS (Holy Roman Emperor/Assisi By Galileo) owned by Sheikh Mohammed Salman M Al-Thani, Led by Marco Casamento and coach Gassim Ghazali won the ninth main race for purebred hybrid horses (second category), for the age of 4 Year Olds & Upwards and a distance of 2000m Turf (02:01:02), title in a big surprise after he presented a strong performance.

King Pacha (Acclamation/Regina Mundi By Montjeu) came in the second place followed by Bolthole (Free Eagle/Weekend Getway By Acclamation) in the third place. (QNA)
