Doha, March 24 (QNA) - Al Rayyan SC announced that Abdulaziz Hatem will not participate with the first football team for a period extending to six weeks due to a tear in the internal ligament of his right knee.

In a statement Sunday, the club stated that the player sustained the injury during the match against Al Gharafa in Week 18 of the Expo Stars League.

The club confirmed that the player will undergo monitoring and a treatment plan under the supervision of the medical staff.

Hatem will miss the remaining five rounds of the Qatari league. Al Rayyan are in fourth place with 32 points and will face Al Duhail in Week 19 scheduled for March 31st. (QNA)
