Al Rayyan Maintain Lead of Handball League

Doha, April 09 (QNA) - Al Rayyan maintained their lead of the 2023/2024 season of the Men's Handball League after defeating Qatar SC 29-22 on Tuesday in Week 10.

Al Rayyan raised their tally to 27 points, topping the standings, while Qatar SC's tally became 13 points, placing them in the eighth position.

Al Arabi continued to chase Al Rayyan after defeating Al Sadd 34-28, raising their tally to 26 points in the second position, compared to Al Sadd's 17 points in the seventh position.

Al Ahli defeated Al Wakrah 26-25, raising their tally to 24 points in the fourth position, while Al Wakrah's tally became 22 points in the sixth position.

After three consecutive defeats, Al Duhail defeated Al Shamal 35-27, bringing Al Duhail's tally to 24 points in the third position, compared to Al Shamal's 12 points in the ninth position.

Week 10 started Monday with Al Gharafa's 36-33 victory over Al Khor. (QNA)
