Advisor to  Minister of Sports and Youth to QNA:  Gulf Youth Day Contributes to Increasing Awareness of Importance of Youth Work

Doha, May 10 (QNA) - Advisor to the Minister of Sports and Youth Abdulrahman bin Muslim AlDosari has underscored that organizing the Gulf Youth Day on June 6 of each year contributes to increasing interest and awareness of the importance of youth work and the advancement of youth in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC).
The Advisor to the Minister of Sports and Youth said in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) following the meeting of the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Youth and Sports of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC) on Friday in Doha, that the meeting had stressed the importance of unifying the strategic plans in the Youth Development Index, expressing his happiness with the extent of compatibility and harmony in the visions and that all GCC countries are keen to achieve common goals with regard to the youth sector.
He added that the participants in the meeting discussed how to unify joint youth programs, evaluate the work of some committees, restructure them, and amend their names in accordance with the requirements of the next stage.
Concluding his statements to QNA, Abdulrahman bin Muslim Al Dosari noted that the recommendations have been submitted to the 37th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Youth and Sports in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC), which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, in Doha, for approval, within the framework of efforts to develop the youth sector in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC).
