Beijing, May 15 (QNA) - A delegation from Qatar News Agency (QNA) learned about the pioneering experience and prominent media role of the Peoples Republic of China News Agency (Xinhua) locally, regionally and internationally, ae well as its progress at the professional and technical levels.

In a second visit to the main headquarters of Xinhua, within the framework of exchanging experiences and strengthening cooperation between the two agencies and transferring successful experiences and applying them institutionally, the QNA delegation was briefed on Xinhua's modern systems and technologies and advanced programs that contribute to providing fast, comprehensive and accurate news services about various events and topics internationally and locally.

The visit was an opportunity to discuss pioneering methods adopted by Xinhua to achieve distinguished media coverage, including the use of modern technology, innovation in information presentation and in emphasizing national identity and presenting it as prominent media content, which contributes to enhancing cultural exchange of knowledge with the rest of the international agencies, including QNA.

The delegation also took note of development and innovation in building corporate identity and using information technology at Xinhua, including digitization and artificial intelligence, especially in light of the growing importance that Xinhua adopts in its work to enhance the influence of institutions and countries regionally and internationally and explains the efforts made in the areas of sustainability and sustainable development, which are evident in all aspects of life through a serious commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

During the visit, which comes after a similar visit by a Xinhua delegation to QNA's headquarters in Doha, important aspects of Xinhua's work were reviewed, starting with news coverage and ending with adopting modern techniques for publishing content as well as the latest technical developments used in its media work such as modern technologies in the fields of digitization and artificial intelligence, in a way that enhances the efficiency and quality of the news production process.

The visit of the QNA delegation to Xinhua's headquarters was an opportunity for cultural and media exchange between the two friendly countries and enhancing the strong media relations between the two media agencies and their keenness to enhance the level of international media and communication through the exchange of various media expertise and experiences.

At the end of the visit to Xinhua's main headquarters, the Qatari delegation praised the technical level of Xinhua's work in terms of the quality of the media content, noting the generous hospitality and warm reception. (QNA)
