Doha, May 22 (QNA) - Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari announced the State of Qatar's call to disregard media reports attempting to cast doubt and level accusations against the ongoing mediation efforts to halt the aggression in Gaza.

In a statement to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), Dr. Al Ansari emphasized the need for focus during this sensitive time on ways to end the war in the Gaza Strip.

The foreign ministry's spokesperson said that the State of Qatar's joint mediation efforts with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America are ongoing, affirming that the three countries are working in full coordination to achieve an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners and hostages, which would lead to the establishment of peace, security, and stability in the region.
