Sheikh Ahmed bin Thamer Al-Thani Elected President of Al Kharaitiyat SC

Doha, July 08 (QNA) - The General Assembly of Al Kharaitiyat SC elected HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Thamer Al-Thani as president of the club and Jamal Abdullah Al Shamlan as vice president for 2024 - 2028 by acclamation since no candidate came forward for the two positions.

The announcement and approval came during the Assembly's meeting Monday evening after the conclusion of the quorum in the presence of the founding and working members as well as representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Thamer Al-Thani stated that the new season will not be easy and requires increasing administrative efforts to reach the desired goals.

This responsibility will not be simple, but he is confident in all the club's members.

His Excellency added that the management of Al Kharaitiyat SC is currently making every effort to sign new players. Coach Youssef Adam will continue his role in training the team.

There will also be a focus on the teams of different age groups to advance them to better levels.

It was confirmed during the General Assembly meeting that HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Thamer Al-Thani has been appointed honorary president of Al Kharaitiyat SC.
