Amman, July 16 (QNA) - The Qatar youth handball team secured a 29-26 victory over Chinese Taipei on Tuesday in their third match of Group D in the 18th Asian Men's Junior (U21) Handball Championship, which is taking place in Amman, Jordan, and runs until June 25, serving as a qualifier for the 2025 World Championship in Poland.

With this win, Qatar's team now has 3 points, tying with Japan. The team awaits the result of the South Korea vs. Japan match later today to determine their position for advancing to the main round.
Previously, Qatar drew 25-25 with Japan in their first match and lost 24-33 to South Korea in their second match. (QNA)
