Kuwait, July 28 (QNA) - Kuwait's Ministry of Information launched on Sunday the 'Al-Akhbar' news channel to broadcast correct and reliable news and information.

Kuwaiti Assistant Undersecretary for news and political programs, Dr. Bader Al Enezi, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), that the channel sets out to engage actively with local, regional and international affairs issues, around the clock through transmitting main news programs, in addition to a range of documentary programs and talk shows in multiple fields.

The channel currently operates through five studios, including two internal studios and three external ones, Al Enezi highlighted, adding that soon the channel will prepare four studios for live and recorded packages of programs after finalizing all administrative, financial and technical preparations.
