Istanbul, August 01 (QNA) - The Turkish city of Istanbul will host the 9th session of the International Arab Book Fair, under the slogan "The Book is the Future", from August 10 to 18, with the participation of more than 300 publishing houses from more than 30 countries.

The Fair, organized by the Turkish Publishers Union, the International Association of Arab Book Publishers and the Turkish Publishers Association, features various cultural events, including lectures, intellectual seminars, book signing ceremonies, poetry evenings, artistic activities, and a language corner where activities will be held to promote learning Turkish and Arabic.

The Fair, which was visited by approximately 180,000 people last year, is an important platform for spreading the Arabic language, strengthening cultural ties, and highlighting the creativity of academics, writers, authors, painters, graphic designers, and representatives of printing and publishing houses.
