Doha, August 02 (QNA) - The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation renewed today its support for Kuwait to host the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup, confirming that it will be held on time from Dec. 21 to Jan. 3.
The Federation praised in a statement the great efforts made by the State of Kuwait in hosting it, stressing that all inspection visits during the previous periods were excellent and witnessed the remarkable progress in Kuwait's preparations for this important event for the peoples of the Gulf.
The Federation called on some media outlets to obtain information accurately and take it from official sources.
It is worth noting that the Kuwaiti team holds the record for the number of times it has won the tournament, with 10 titles. (QNA)
