Doha, August 30 (QNA) - Qatari Al Sadd SC announced Friday the transfer of their Ecuadorian player Gonzalo Plata to Flamengo of Brazil.
The club said in a statement that Plata, 23 years old, moved to Flamengo of Brazil, wishing him success in his career with his new club.
Al Sadd signed Gonzalo Plata last July for five seasons coming from Valladolid of Spain, with his contract ending in the summer of 2028.
Al Sadd will participate in the AFC Champions League for the elite football competition for the (2024-2025) season, where they will play four matches at home against Persepolis and Esteghlal of Iran, and Al Hilal and Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia, while they will play away against Al Ain (the title holder) and Al Wasl of the Emirates, Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia, and Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan.
