Qatar U-20 Football Team Defeats Hong Kong, China in AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers

Doha, September 28 (QNA) - The Qatar U-20 football team secured a 2-0 victory over Hong Kong, China in the Group J match of the qualifiers for the AFC U-20 Asian Cup, which will be held in China from February 6 to 23. The match took place today at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

Qatar's goals were scored by Mohammed Khaled and Ibrahim Al Hassan in the 47th and 61st minutes, respectively.

In the same group, the Jordanian team defeated Singapore 2-0 at Grand Hamad Stadium in Doha, with Awda Fakhouri and Ibrahim Sabra scoring in the 25th and 29th minutes.

Jordan tops the group standings based on goal difference, with six points, followed by Qatar, also with six points. Singapore and Hong Kong, China remain without points.

Qatar will play their third and final group match against Jordan on Sunday at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, while Singapore will face Hong Kong, China at Grand Hamad Stadium. (QNA)
