Doha, September 29 (QNA) - Qatar Charity (QC) has provided urgent food aid to 18,000 flood-affected individuals in Bangladesh.

This effort is part of the QCs ongoing campaign, 'Rescue Flood Victims,' which supports flood-affected communities in 18 countries, including Bangladesh.

The distribution of relief aid was carried out in coordination with local authorities to ensure that it reached those most in need efficiently.

Food packages were distributed in strategic locations throughout the Noakhali district, with special attention to vulnerable groups such as families with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

The aid, which included essential food items, was critical in addressing the urgent nutritional needs of the affected population, many of whom lost their homes and livelihoods due to the floods.

The QC launched in September the 'Rescue Flood Victims' campaign for 18 flood-affected countries. The campaign aims to provide essential aid to flood victims in the areas of food, shelter, healthcare, education, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). (QNA)
