Doha, October 08 (QNA) - Qatar Stars League announced Tuesday the winners of the Best monthly awards for September.
Al Ahli manager Igor Biscan was named the Best Coach for the second consecutive time.
Al Ahli's Julian Draxler was named the Best Player while Al Duhail's Ibrahima Bamba won the best U-23 player.
Al Khor goalkeeper Ahmed Bashir won the Best Save award thanks to his save in his side's 1-1 tie against Al Arabi in round 4.
The QSL's Best XI in September came as follows: Salah Zakaria (Al Duhail), Ibrahima Bamba (Al Duhail), Amin Al Tihi (Al Ahli), Mohamed Ibrahim (Al Shahania), Abdul Karim Hassan (Al Wakrah), Idrissa Doumbia (Al Ahli), Marco Verratti (Al Arabi), Julian Draxler (Al Ahli), Edmilson Junior (Al Duhail), Oussama Tannane (Umm Salal), and Antonio Mansi (Umm Salal).
Al Duhail now top the league table with 15 points, followed by Al Ahli in second place with 14 points, Al Wakrah in third place with 11 points, and Umm Salal in fourth place with 10 points. (QNA)
