Nasser Al Attiyah Clinches 2024 World Rally-Raid Championship

Doha, October 11 (QNA) - Qatari driver Nasser Al Attiyah was officially crowned the 2024 World Rally-Raid Champion (W2RC) after securing victory in the 25th edition of the Morocco Desert Rally, the fifth and final round of the championship.
This marks Al Attiyah's third consecutive world title, having previously won the championship in 2022 and 2023. His win in Morocco, his seventh victory in the rally, further solidified his position at the top of the championship standings with 202 points, 42 points ahead of his nearest rival, Saudi driver Yazeed Al Rajhi, who finished second with 160 points. Brazilian driver Lucas Moraes secured third place with 117 points. (QNA)
