Gaza, October 15 (QNA) - Director of Civil Defense in Northern Gaza Ahmed Al Kahlout stressed that the Israeli occupation deliberately targets rescue and ambulance crews, preventing them from reaching the besieged residents or retrieving the bodies of martyrs and the wounded.

In exclusive remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Kahlout said that the crimes of the Israeli occupation continue against the residents of the northern Gaza Strip Governorate for the 11th consecutive day, amidst a tight siege that prevents the entry of food and medical supplies.

He stressed the occupation's persistence in committing its crimes against civilians, tightening the noose around them, and the arrival of its vehicles inside residential areas, threatening the lives of hundreds.

He warned of the continued targeting of rescue teams and preventing them from reaching the bodies of the martyrs, as well as the injured who are bleeding inside their homes.

Director of Civil Defense in Northern Gaza noted that the occupation prevented the entry of fuel for rescue and ambulance vehicles, and imposed a tight siege that prevents the entry of any of the living requirements for the residents besieged in their homes.

The aggression on northern Gaza led to the death of more than 340 people, the injury of hundreds, and the collapse of the health system.
