Qatar Athletics Federation Elects Mohammed Al Fadala President for New Term
Doha, November 11 (QNA) - The General Assembly of the Qatar Athletics Federation elected Mohammed Issa Al-Fadala as President of the Federation for a new term extending until 2028.
The meeting of the Assembly took place on Monday at the headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), with a full quorum of members in attendance.
The Assembly also elected Issa Abdullah Al Harmi, Talal Mansour Al Abdullah, Thabet Sorour, Mohammed Ahmed Taher and Moza Khaled Al-Mohannadi as members of the Board of Directors.
The General Assembly approved the minutes of the previous meeting, and adopted the schedule of the championships.
Mohammed Issa Al Fadala, President of the Qatar Athletics Federation, stressed the Federation's keenness to continue working to achieve success for the game at all levels of future participations, noting in this regard the unlimited support of the Federation and the sport of athletics by the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) headed by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al- Thani.
Al Fadala expressed his appreciation to the members of the General Assembly, considering them partners of the Federation in the successes and achievements that were made during the last session of the Board of Directors. He also praised the Qatari clubs and their keenness to develop the game and achieve success. (QNA)
