Eid Al Muraikhi Elected Qatar Taekwondo, Judo and Karate Federation President
Doha, November 26 (QNA) - Eid Ali Al Muraikhi has been elected president of the Qatar Taekwondo, Judo and Karate Federation.
Al Muraikhi was elected for a four-year term of office (2024-2028) in a regular assembly that completed its legal quorum with the presence of all members and a Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) representative.
The assembly elected Mohammed Saeed Al Misnad as secretary general and renewed confidence in the board members - Adnan Al Mannai, Salem Mansour Al Marri, Rashid Mubarak Al Hajri and Amna Al Kuwari.
The agenda included approving the minutes of the previous assembly meeting, the financial and technical reports, and the 2024-2025 season schedule along with the fiscal year 2025 draft budget.
In press remarks, Al Muraikhi thanked former president Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah and voiced hopes the federation would continue future achievements.
He also underscored the need to press on cooperation with clubs and private centers to push the three sports forward. (QNA)
