Doha, December 11 (QNA) - The Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with the Qatar Finance and Business Academy and under the sponsorship of Ahli Bank, organized the 4th edition of the "Jahez" Career Readiness Program.

The program aimed at qualifying Qatari men and women, enhancing their professional readiness, leadership skills, and teamwork abilities, developing their creative thinking, and improving their chances of securing desired job opportunities. This will help them achieve their career goals and succeed in their diverse career paths.

The organization of this two-day program is part of the Ministry of Labour's efforts to qualify and develop the skills of the national workforce, enhancing its competitiveness in the labour market. This aligns with the Third National Development Strategy (2024-2030), which aims to drive a transformative shift toward a more productive labour market, focusing on jobs that require high-level skills.

The program provided joint theoretical training between the Ministry of Labour and the Qatar Finance and Business Academy. It covered key skills and knowledge necessary to empower job seekers to find suitable positions in the labour market.

The "Jahez" Career Readiness Program is one of the initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Labour in partnership with the private sector to prepare and develop the skills of the national workforce before they enter the labour market.

The State of Qatar aims to enhance the skills of its workforce and prepare them to become competitive in the labour market, in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030. (QNA)
