Al Wakrah Agrees to Loan Hamdy Fathy to Egypt's Al Ahly During FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Doha, December 15 (QNA) - Al Wakrah SC officially announced on Sunday its approval to transfer first-team midfielder, Hamdy Fathy, to Al Ahly FC of Egypt on loan during the FIFA Club World Cup in June 2025.

The Club said on X that an agreement was reached during a meeting between HE Al Wakrah SC President Sheikh Khalifa bin Hassan Al-Thani and Al Ahly President Mahmoud Al Khatib.

The 29-year-old Egyptian international footballer joined Al Wakrah SC in July 2023 on a four-year contract, during which he participated in the Qatar Stars League and HH the Amir Cup, winning the Qatar Cup title in the most recent edition. (QNA)
