Doha, October 13 (QNA) - The Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSEA) announced the details of the 7th edition of the Ministries and Authorities Futsal Championship 2025, set to kick off next Sunday at Lusail Multipurpose Hall.

During a press conference held at the Hall, it was revealed that that 12 team will participate in the 7th edition; the Ministries of Interior, Justice, Municipality, Sports and Youth, Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, Social Development and Family, as well as Qatar Red Crescent, Public Works Authority (Ashghal), General Authority of Customs, Qatar Museums, Qatar Media Corporation, and the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau.

The draw put the teams in four groups, with each group including three teams, for a total of 144 players (12 players in each team).

QSEA Executive Director Abdullah Al Dosari stated during the conference that the championship comes as part of efforts made by the ministries and government and private entities to organize sports events for their employees throughout the year.

He said that the Federation makes sure to provide opportunities to members of society to practice sport and immerse themselves in active and diverse programs.

Al Dosari expressed his hopes that this edition will be a success and a great addition to the events organized by the QSEA.

The participating teams will garner 20 points that will be taken into account in the State Sports Day Award, he explained.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education team claimed the title of the last edition of the championship after beating the Ministry of Interior (1-0). (QNA)
