Dakar, November 10 (QNA) - Senegal manager Aliou Cisse extended his contract as the Teranga Lions coach till 2024, the Senegalese Football Federation tweeted on Thursday.
The Senegalese Football Federation welcomes the extension of AFCON 2022 champion Aliou Cisse's contract, and he will take over the responsibility till 2024, the tweet read.
Cisse, who participated in his country's World Cup debut in 2002, was hired in 2015 to replace French Alain Giresse.
He led Senegal to qualify for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 for the second time in a row after participating in the 2018 edition in Moscow.
Drawn in Group A with Qatar, Ecuador and Holland, Senegal will take on Holland on Nov. 21, Qatar on Nov. 25 and Ecuador on Nov. 29. (QNA)
