Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra to Perform "Gala of Champions" Thursday

Doha, November 13 (QNA) - The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will host a concert on Thursday evening featuring the most famous musical compositions of the World Cup-winning countries throughout the history of the World Cup.

The concert, entitled "Gala of Champions", will be held at the Opera Theater of the Katara Cultural Village in cooperation with the embassies of Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina, France, Uruguay, Britain and Spain.

The orchestra, led by Johannes Vogel, will perform, and the concert will include compositions by Oscar Lorenzo Fernandez, Manuel de Falla, Ludwig van Beethoven, Gioachino Rossini, Edward Elgar and many others.
