Qatar Foundation: Match Screenings for Free During Tournament in Oxygen Park

Doha, November 22 (QNA) - Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) invites all football fans to watch the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches and enjoy the activities organized by the Foundation.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Foundation said that 22 matches will be shown for free on a large screen in the Oxygen Park, adding that the live broadcast will start with four matches next Friday, on Nov. 25, and includes many matches, including the semi-finals and the final, during the next month.

The statement noted that among the matches that will be broadcast on the screen in Oxygen Park are the Qatar-Senegal match on Friday Nov. 25, Qatar-Netherlands match on Tuesday Nov. 29 and many other matches throughout the mentioned period, except the days when the Education City Stadium hosts matches, pointing out that families will be able to enjoy a range of activities in addition to watching football matches. Outlets selling food and soft and fresh drinks will also be available, noting that attending these activities does not require obtaining a "Hayya" card.

The statement mentioned that those wishing to watch the matches in Oxygen Park can view the full schedule and instructions on how to reach Education City via the link www.qf.org.qa/ar/wc-screenings, with tips on the how to use public transportation and the importance of using it.

In a related context, Qatar Foundation will organize a number of festivals and activities that meet the various aspirations and interests of the local, regional and international community, which will be held in Education City, as all these activities are designed to ensure easy access for all. This is part of the Foundation's campaign, under the theme "Football Is For All Of Us", as part of the activities that are held during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The Foundation's activities include the second edition of the "Darisha" Festival for the Performing Arts, under the title "Travel and Adventure" from Dec. 11-17 in the Oxygen Park in Education City, which constitutes a platform for various members of society from all countries to celebrate culture and creativity.
