Doha, December 12 (QNA) - The Qatar Stars League (QSL) announced the winners of the Best of the Months awards for October and November, 2023, in the 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League. The awards are for Best Under-23 Player, Best Coach and Best Player.
The choices were made based on the decision of an expert committee managing football development in QSL.
Best Under-23 Player award went to Landing Badji (Umm Salal).
Pedro Martins (Al Gharafa) won the Best Coach award.
Farid Boulaya (Al Gharafa) captured the Best Player award.
As part of the action plan to increase the level of competition and provide enjoyable, high-quality competitive football, the committee also selected Best Save, Best Goal and Best XI for the months of October & November, 2023.
Khalifa Ababacar Ndiaye, Al Gharafa goalkeeper, made the Best Save during their match against Al Arabi in Week 8 (90+4 minute).
Yazan Al Naimat, Al Ahli forward, scored the Best Goal during their match against Al Markhiya in Week 9 (32nd minute).
The Best XI included: Khalifa Ababacar Ndiaye (Al Gharafa), Shogo Taniguchi (Al Rayyan), Matias Nani (Al Shamal), Jassim Jaber (Al Arabi), Homam Al Ameen (Al Gharafa), Ahmed Fathi (Al Arabi), Ferjani Sassi (Al Gharafa), Farid Boulaya (Al Gharafa), Yacine Brahimi (Al Gharafa), Akram Afif (Al Sadd), and Yazan Al Naimat (Al Ahli).
