Qatar Stock Exchange Index Loses 14 Points
Doha, October 13 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange index lost at the beginning of Thursday's trading 14.16 points, or 0.11 percent, reaching 12.836 points compared to the end of Wednesday's trading.
The decline recorded on the stock exchange was due to the decline in the performance of the banking and financial services sector by about 1.29 percent, the insurance sector by 0.47 percent, the telecommunications sector by 0.19 percent and the transport sector by 0.10 percent.
On the other hand, the real estate sector rose by 0.42 percent, followed by the industrial sector by 0.26 percent and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.07 percent.
Qatar Stock Exchange recorded, at 10:00 am, transactions worth QR 82.240 million, distributed among 43.018 million shares, with the implementation of 2310 transactions. (QNA)
