Cairo, February 05 (QNA) - The first political consultation committee meeting between the Foreign Ministry of the State of Qatar and the Foreign Ministry of the Arab Republic of Egypt was held Sunday in Cairo.
HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi chaired the Qatari side during the meeting, while HE Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Alaa Moussa chaired the Egyptian side.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest Arab and international developments and several issues of common interest, particularly the Palestinian cause.
During the meeting, both sides stressed the need to enhance joint efforts to achieve prosperity and development to overcome the challenges facing the Arab region. (QNA)
