Moroccan Hussein Ammouta Appointed as Jordan National Team Coach

Amman, June 27 (QNA) - Jordan Football Association announced the appointment of Moroccan Hussein Ammouta as the Jordan national team coach.
The Jordan Football Association in a statement said Ammouta will be presented to the squad in July, adding that his immediate task will be to prepare Jordan for the qualifying of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
Having represented Morocco five times internationally, the former midfielder's career spanned over West Asia and Africa, having played for Al Saad SC of Qatar and Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates.
The former Wydad AC head coach has also been given the responsibility of deciding on his technical staff. (QNA)
