Gaza, October 11 (QNA) - At least 31 Palestinian citizens were martyred and others were injured tonight in airstrikes carried out by Israeli occupation aircraft on houses in the south, central, and north of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that a woman was martyred, and several citizens were injured in a raid launched by Israeli warplanes on their homes in Al-Najjar area north of Khan Yunis city, adding that the injured were transported to Nasser Hospital west of the city.
The Israeli occupation warplanes also targeted a house in Al-Nusairat neighborhood, resulting in the martyrdom of seven citizens and the injury of others, who were then transported to the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah. Additionally, 15 citizens from one family were martyred due to the shelling of their homes in Deir Al-Balah.
Eight more Palestinians were martyred after the Israeli occupation bombed their home in Tal Al-Zaatar north of the Gaza Strip, while there are still missing individuals under the rubble.
The latest official statistics reported 922 martyrs and 4,650 injured as a result of the comprehensive and continuous aggression by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank since last Saturday. The surprise operation "Al-Aqsa Storm" on settlements in the so-called "Gaza envelope" led to the death of 1,000 Israeli and the injury of over 2,700 others, in addition to capturing several Israeli soldiers. Intense missile strikes were carried out from all areas in the Gaza Strip towards Israeli settlements and military sites. (QNA)
