- The State of Qatar has announced its successful mediation efforts between the United States and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, resulting in a prisoner swap deal.
- Under the initiative of HH Chairperson of Education Above All Foundation (EAA) Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, in a concerted effort to find immediate and practical solutions for providing humanitarian support in the Gaza Strip, the EAA, through its Al Fakhoora program, and in collaboration with its partners has unveiled unprecedented measures to address the dire crisis in Gaza.
- The Shura Council took part in the 51st meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), held via ZOOM on Thursday. HE Shura Council Member and deputy speaker of PAM Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al Subaie represented the Council in the meeting.
- The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries affirmed that the world lost with the passing of HH the late Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah a prominent figure, noting that the GCC lost one of its main pillars, as HH the late Amir contributed to advancing Gulf unity and building and strengthening security integration among the GCC and Arab countries and worked tirelessly to maintain security and stability for Kuwait and its people.
- HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari unveiled expectations that the inflation rate in the State of Qatar during the next fiscal year, compared to the current fiscal year, based on data from the general budget of the State of Qatar for the year 2024.
- The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has unanimously adopted a resolution on the preparation and celebration of the 20th anniversary of the International Year of the Family (IYF) submitted by the State of Qatar in 2004 on behalf of the Group of 77 and China at the United Nations, coinciding with Qatar's presidency of the Group of 77 and China that year.
