Doha, March 29 (QNA) - Al Rayyan announced that its Brazilian player Thiago Mendes will be sidelined for up to five weeks due to an injury.
In a statement released Friday, the club said that medical examinations conducted on the player confirmed that he suffered a partial tear of the left hamstring tendon during Al Rayyan's recent match against Al Gharafa. The injury will keep him out of the team for up to five weeks.
Mendes will miss the upcoming match against Al Duhail on Sunday at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Week 19 of the Expo Stars League. (QNA)
