- QatarEnergy signed an agreement with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) for the construction of 18 ultra-modern QC-Max size LNG vessels, marking a significant addition to its historic LNG fleet expansion program.
- QatarEnergy signed long-term time charter party (TCP) agreements with three ship owners for the operation of nine new, ultra-modern LNG vessels as part of the QC-Max part of its historic LNG fleet expansion program.
- Hamad International Airport (DOH) continues to strengthen its position as a global aviation hub, with Q1 2024 marking its busiest quarter yet, surpassing all previous records set in 2023.
- The Ministry of Labour signed Monday a cooperation agreement with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) to support the development of an advanced labour market information system (LMIS) and data analytics ecosystem.
- HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey met Monday with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Ghana Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Hamid, on the occasion of the end of his term.
- HE Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem laid the foundation stone for the Moza bint Mohammed Center for Quran and Da'awa in the Al Waab area, considering it one of the most important endowment landmarks for the Quran and Da'awa in the country.
- The Ministry of Culture has participated in the 33rd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024 which kicked off on Monday at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre under the theme: "Where World Tales Unfold" and will continue until May 5.
- The State of Qatar hosted the 58th meeting of the Technical Council of the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO).
- Arab Forum for Healthcare Development - Qatar Goals, kicked off today in Doha, in the presence of HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari, HE Minister of Health and Population of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, in addition to several senior officials in the Arab health sector, specialists and experts from more than 15 countries.
- Under the auspices of HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Qatar Committee for the Alliance of Civilizations, Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, the Qatar Committee for the Alliance of Civilizations and the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science held an honoring ceremony for winners of Qatar Alliance of Civilization Award 2023-2024 at the Diplomatic Club in Doha.
- Qatar University (QU) hosts the 18th Annual MENASA NASPA Conference, in partnership with NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) under the theme "Student Affairs: Changes and Challenges in the Era of Emerging Technologies," with extensive participation of professionals, researchers, and experts from various educational institutions in the MENA region and South Asia - The Qatari delegation participating in the 15th Arab Robotics Championship in Jordan got advanced rankings. Held during April 26 and 29, the event saw the participation of over 400 players from both genders representing a number of Arab countries.
- The State of Qatar's delegation participated in the plenary session of the 49th annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The National Workshop on Trade Agreement Negotiations organized by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI) in collaboration a training institute of World Trade Organization (WTO) kicked off Monday. The event is set to continue until May 2.
- Qatar General Organization for Standards and Metrology (QS) hosted the 19th meeting of the GCC Accreditation Center (GAC) chaired by HE Assistant President of QS, Eng. Nawaf Ibrahim Al Hamad Al Mana in the presence of Their Excellencies heads of the Gulf standardization bodies and GAC members.
- Represented by its Social Welfare Department, Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) organized a workshop under the title 'You Can,' to enhance support for persons with disabilities, in cooperation with Mada Center for Assistive Technology.
- The Public Prosecution chaired the 11th meeting of the heads of inspection departments of the public prosecution bodies and state prosecutors of the GCC countries.
- The Qatar Chamber (QC) participated in the second Conference of the Chambers of Commerce of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Member States which kicked off on Tuesday in Esfahan, the Islamic Republic of Iran.
- The State of Qatar participated in the preparatory meeting of the 3rd session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, slated to be held in Doha on Tuesday.
- Doha hosted a roundtable and partnership meetings with the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), organized by the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
- The Ministry of Education and Higher Education celebrated Monday the winners of the fitness and health project in its second edition for the academic year 2023-2024, aimed at improving physical fitness levels and promoting health culture among students in Qatar.
- The development and education global leader, Education Above All (EAA) Foundation have signed a new five-year agreement with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) aimed at addressing the global challenge of out of school children (OOSC), including refugees, internally displaced persons, and host community children.

- The fifth edition of Career Village, organized by the Qatar Career Development Center at KidZania, began Monday in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
- Msheireb Properties announced the return of TEFFA (Technology Education Finance Fashion and Art) for its second edition from May 6 - 8.
- The General Directorate of Civil Defense participated in the 5th edition of the Career Village, organized by the Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), at KidZania interactive city from Apr. 29 to May 1.
- The Military Secondary School celebrated the graduation of its fourth cohort, under the auspices and presence of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and in the presence of a number of senior officer commanders in the armed forces and the students' parents.
