Helsinki, June 10 (QNA) - HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met separately today in Helsinki with HE Chief of Staff to the President of Finland Lauri Tierala, HE Director of Peace Mediation in the Government Ville Brummer, and HE Special Envoy on Peace Mediation in the Horn of Africa Suldaan Said Ahmed, HE Director of the Peace Mediation Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Katja Ahlfors, and HE Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Parliament Kimmo Kiljunen.
The meeting dealt with discussing cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, especially in the field of mediation and resolving regional and international disputes, and discussing developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Afghanistan, and the latest developments in the Horn of Africa region, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
