- HE Permanent Representative of State of Qatar to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva Dr. Hind bint Abdulrahman Al Muftah participated in the Global Ethics Forum 2024, held in Geneva on Wednesday.
- The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, is participating in the Mohammed VI International Prize for Quran Memorization, Interpretation, and Recitation, taking place in Casablanca, Morocco. The competition began yesterday, Tuesday.
- The State of Qatar chaired the 17th meeting of the Permanent Committee for Combating Terrorism in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The two-day meeting was held at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.
- The State of Qatar chaired the 10th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Social Affairs and Development of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
- The State of Qatar concluded Wednesday its participation in the 8th INTERPOL Chiefs of Police Meeting for the Middle East and North Africa region.
- Qatar's Cultural Attache to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, Fahad bin Mohammed Al Kuwari, has revealed that the number of Qatari students studying in British universities exceeds 3000 students, noting the endeavor to increase this number in the coming years, both in the UK and Irland, and in the rest of the European countries.
- The GCC Labour Ministers Committee held its 10th meeting in Doha under the chairmanship of HE Minister of Labour Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri and in the presence of HE Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, with the participation of all member states.
- CEO of Norway's Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace Company Geir Haoy stressed that the official visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Kingdom of Norway is a great opportunity to cement the existing strong relations between the two countries, which have been bound by commercial cooperation for more than 50 years.

- An official delegation from Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has participated in the 11th Red Cross and Red Crescent Conference for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), held by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), which is hosted by Jordan National Red Crescent Society (JNRCS) over two days in Amman, Jordan, and is part of the preparations for the 2024 Constitutional Meetings in October.
- Qatar Charity (QC) has continued its relief support for flash flood victims in Yemen, as part of its ongoing humanitarian campaign "Aid for Flood Victims".
- In line with the Third Financial Sector Strategy, the FinTech Strategy, and Qatar Central Bank's (QCB) ongoing efforts to regulate and develop the financial sector while enhancing the FinTech ecosystem in the country, QCB has issued the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Guideline. This guideline aims to regulate the use of Al within the financial sector.
- The Qatari U-17 Handball Team won against their Emirati counterpart with a score of (31 - 21) in the first Group C match of the 10th Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship 2024, held on Wednesday.
- The Qatari national team beat its Kazakh counterpart (71-64) in their match that took place Wednesday in the third and final round of Group C in the FIBA U18 Asian Championship, currently held in Jordan, which also serves as the qualifiers for the 2025 World Cup finals.
- The Qatari basketball team beat its Kuwaiti counterpart 76-72 in the third and final round of the first round of the 17th GCC Men's Basketball Championship, hosted by Bahrain until Sep. 7.
- The Qatari beach volleyball team is participating in the 29th Arab Men's Championship, which will be hosted by the city of Hammamet, Tunisia, which will start on Thursday and continue until Sep. 10.
- The Ahmad bin Ali World Cup Stadium will host the Qatar national team's match against the UAE tomorrow, Thursday, at 7:00 PM. This is the first match of Group A in the third and final stage of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
- The Qatar national football team will aim to capitalize on home-field advantage as they kick off their participation in Group A of the third round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, set to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
