Qatar Participates in 10th International Conference on Arabic Language in UAE
Abu Dhabi, October 14 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the 10th International Conference on the Arabic Language, organized by the International Council for the Arabic Language in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, to exchange experiences and ideas that contribute to serving and promoting the Arabic language and highlighting the problems it faces.
HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi led the delegation of the State of Qatar. His Excellency participated in the opening ceremony, the award distribution for the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Arabic Language Award winners, and the seminar on linguistic national security in Arab countries, held on the sidelines of the conference.
In a related context, the MOEHE participated in the conference with a working paper titled "Efforts of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Promoting the Arabic Language," presented by Arabic Language Advisory Consultant at the MOEHE Hassan bin Murshid Al Nuaimi.
The International Conference on the Arabic Language is considered a scientific, educational, cultural, and intellectual international conference. This conference is held annually and includes participation from ministries, universities, and scientific institutions, as well as linguistic academies and centers for linguistic studies and research. The conference also brings together officials, scholars, and researchers to discuss theoretical and applied studies and scientific reports in the field of the Arabic language. (QNA)
