Doha, October 16 (QNA) - Here is a summary of local news released Tuesday: - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Tuesday in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium to chair the State of Qatar's delegation participating in the first GCC-EU summit, scheduled for Wednesday at the headquarters of the European Union.
- HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the inauguration of the fourth ordinary session of the first legislative term, corresponding to the 53rd annual session of the Shura Council, at Tamim bin Hamad Hall at the Shura Council's headquarters on Tuesday morning.
- HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani stressed that two goals incorporate the constitutional and legislative amendments: Ensuring the unity of the people on the one hand, and equal citizenship in terms of rights and duties on the other.
